At Silk Sky Air we often say that the best view in the world is the one that changes your life. This week our team had the honor of playing a supporting role in a spectacular marriage proposal that redefined the meaning of a grand entrance.

The strategy was built on the element of surprise. While the couple spent forty five minutes soaring over the emerald peaks of Phang Nga Bay our ground team was busy transforming our private helipad into a massive canvas. A custom oversized banner was secured across the landing zone with a clear message visible from hundreds of feet above.

The Art of the Reveal

As the Airbus H130 began its final approach the pilot maneuvered into a wide slow orbit. From 1,500 feet the couple could see the coastline the emerald water and then finally the message waiting for them at home.

In the quiet of the cabin high above the Phuket landscape she said yes before the skids even touched the ground.
